The Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah scarf is a wonderful project for this time of the year, when the seasons are changing. It is light and soft with only 100g of fine mohair and silk. It won’t bother you, when it’s still a bit warm, yet it will keep you nice and cozy, when it gets chilly.

You can just as well use any other yarn that has a color cradient or a bit streched stripe pattern, like Noro, Zauberball, Zauberwolle, Knitpicks Chroma, Chrystal Palace Mini Mochi. Mind that your scarf will be thicker and heavier then.

It might look complicated, but the principle is fairly easy, which makes it a perfect project for mindless knitting, and because of the little amount of weight also designed for travelling and commuting.

Although it is a modular knit, there are no seams. Even if you consider yourself a beginning knitter, you will surely manage, since there is a photo tutorial on how to join the modules at the end of the pattern.

Happy knitting
