This is a kerchief/shawlette made from alternating sections of stockinette and garter stitch. The edge has a slight ruffle for a light feminine touch. The shawl recipe works wonderfully with variegated or self-striping sock yarns.

Getting the exact gauge isn’t all that important, but naturally a change in gauge will effect the size of the finished shawl.
