This cardigan is inspired by a piece my grandmother Zoe made over 20 years ago. I love the look and fit of it and especially love the edging.

Yarn: Fingering Weight (CYCA #1, Superfine).
Shown: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine (50% superwash wool, 30% nylon, 20% super fine alpaca; 433 yd 400 m/3.5 oz 100 g; CYCA #1): #1288, 4 (4, 5, 6) skeins.

Hook: Size D/3 (3.25mm) or hook needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: Locking stitch markers, tapestry needle for assembly and weaving in ends. 6 buttons.

2 SR by 16 rows (2 RR) = 4.75” x 4.5” (12 cm x 11.5 cm) in Pineapple Lace stitch pattern 1.

Finished Size
Bust measurement is 38.75 (48.5, 57.75, 67.5)“ (98.5 123, 146.5, 171.5 cm) with an oversized fit when buttoned. Sized for S (M, L, XL). Size shown is S.
