Zombie Turkey
This year as you sit down for your Thanksgiving dinner, keep a lookout for spooky visitors coming back for revenge! Zombie Turkey is making the rounds and he never quite looks the same. Is he a glowing spirit of a turkey, a vicious zombie wreaking havoc, or something completely different? It’s up to you who joins you this Thanksgiving holiday!
Materials:
**Please note: If you are making this for a pet (or child), please do not use nail polish, glue, large beads, or anything that may be toxic or a choking hazard. Embroider small details instead**
• Yarn: 100 yards White #5 thread.
• Darning needle.
• Polyfil (just a dab).
• 1 ¼ “squeaker or catnip (optional).
• Red beads, gems or safety eyes (size is a matter of preference).
• Red embroidery thread, glitter red nail polish/glue/paint etc. for blood (optional).
• Stiff brush and dark eyeshadow or oil pastel for eye shading (optional).
• Approximately 2” length of wire, ¼ inch dowel or plastic drinking straw for neck support (optional).
• Key ring or clip (optional).
• Fabric or nylon pouch if using catnip.
• Stitch marker.
• Hook: 2.25mm or smaller.
• Size: 5” including legs when using the materials listed.
Zombie Turkey is worked from the bottom up as all one-piece.
