The design for this Autumn Hat and Mittens was inspired by my Autumn Leaves Shawl. I live in the northern hemisphere where we are currently enjoying our autumn season. The leaves are changing to the most beautiful shades of yellow, red and brown and falling from the trees.

I have used Orielle DK yarn by Louisa Harding to knit these mittens in a shade called Umbria. This yarn is just perfect for knitting mittens as colourful and vibrant as the autumn season.
