Hi! I’m Barb—the knitter, designer, and caffeine-fueled coordinator behind Barbanne Designs. With 20+ years of knitting (and 5 years of crochet) under my belt, I create patterns that celebrate intricate details: flowing lace, bold cables, and striking mosaic colorwork.

Every design is crafted with care to ensure a fun, frustration-free knit from cast-on to bind-off. I’m inspired by indie-dyed yarns, rich jewel tones, and a love of storytelling—whether it’s a serene Estonian-inspired shawl or a heartfelt double-knit throw honoring a beloved pet.
