Dragons appear in so many stories from all over the world, and they have always fascinated me. They are magical, can spit fire, can fly, and depending on the lore, they have many other fascinating abilities.

When I won this gorgeous stitch pattern that encodes the word Dragon into a pattern that resembles dragon scales, I knew I had to use it for more than one design, it was just too beautiful.

So the idea for this collection was been born. It will include 5 dragon-themed patterns.

• Fire Dragon shawl - half-pi shawl with garter ridges, dragon lace pattern and picot bind off published
• Storm Dragon shawl - crescent shawl in one or two colours with garter stitch border, dragon lace edging with added beads and picot bind off, available in two sizes published
• Helios Dragon cowl - close to the neck cowl using a single skein of yarn with a short gradient, with dragon lace pattern and a ruffled edge published
• Water Dragon stole - combination of a rectangular stole in the dragon lace pattern with triangles in a wave-like pattern published
• Forest Dragon scarf - infinity scarf with leaf border and dragon lace pattern published
