The Flower Buds collection will include 5 patterns with the same kind of motif and similar construction:

3. Cardigan (fingering weight) - already available
4. Cardigan (DK weight) - to be published in October
5. Summer Tee (sport weight) - already available

Sizes:

• Eventually, all patterns will be available in 22 sizes: 8 children (1 y.o. - 13-15y.o.)and 14 adult sizes for own bust circumference of 80-153 cm/32-60” (average height of 168 cm/5’6”), all garments have an intended positive ease of 2-7cm /1-3”

• At the moment, the sweater only goes up to size 4XL (117cm/46”), and cardigan - to 6XL (127cm/50”). Both will be extended in Septmeber.

Construction:

• Work the yoke sideways in garter in 2 colors, using German short-rows to create the print (sweaters & tee - seam the yoke together at center back);
• Pick up yoke stitches, continue in stockinette, do a few short-rows to raise the back neck for more comfortable fit
• Split off the sleeves, work the body top-down (sweaters & tee - in the round, straight; cardigans - flat, with bust darts and optional waist shaping), then sleeves in the round
• Cardigans only: work the hem and cuffs in garter stitch, sideways; work the button-bands in rib, also sideways
• All garments: finish with applied I-cord along all of the edges (neckline, hem and cuffs)
