This ebook contains full written and charted instructions for making the original boomerang shaped Hurricane Season as well as full written and charted instructions for two variant shapes: top down triangle and top down crescent.
I loved the way that variegated yarn played with this stitch so much that I just had to play with how it would slot into different shawl shapes. I know not everyone is in love with the side to side asymmetrical triangle known as the “boomerang” so I wanted to offer options.
But what I didn’t want to do is knit two more shawls when I could be working on a new design. So I knit the small sample shawls that you see here. For each one I worked through a full repeat of the motif and then started over again to make sure that everything lined up the way I wanted. Proof of concept if you will.
The open ended, repeat until you run out of yarn, nature of this design is suited to accommodate other yarn sizes. On page 2 of the eBook you will find guidance on how to pick your own perfect pairing of yarn and needle to create your own version of these shawls.
Because the two other shapes do not include fully knit and photographed versions I have combined them into this eBook at a discount from a fully priced shawl. And while the boomerang is available as a single pattern, the other two shapes are only available in this eBook.
