There was a fresh layer of snow on the ground. It glistened in the moonlight like a soft, silvery blanket that covered the Earth to keep it warm. Barina looked out her window and admired the beauty of mother nature as the firewood crackled in the fireplace. It was such a beautiful evening. She thought about how this reminded her of the year she learned about all the wonderful ways to celebrate. The town was hustling and bustling with the comings and goings of happy people. The holiday season was in full swing and the excitement was in the air. Barina was in town getting provisions for the week and doing a little window shopping. She loved the beautiful window displays that all the shops put up every year. She would walk from window to window admiring all the lovely trinkets and bobbles, each one more beautiful than the next. This time of year always made her heart fill with joy, peace and love. As she wrapped up her shopping she saw a cute little Christmas mouse and Snowperson playing with an odd toy. She was so intrigued by the toy she found herself wandering over to ask what it was. Would these two little creatures open Barina’s eyes to new traditions?
