The Éire Collection is a collection of three shawl patterns inspired by the three sister Queens of Ireland, Banbha, Ériu and Fodhla.

Banbha, the first in the collection, is the calm serene and gentle sister. She whispers “Ireland” to you in her poetic voice.

Fodhla is the romantic, lyrical sister who sings “Ireland” to you in her melodic voice and shows you her carefree, light and airy personality. Fodhla has an innate dreamy and ethereal quality to her that gives her such a romantic feel.

Ériu, from whom Ireland (Éire) gets her name, is the sister who is as warm and welcoming as the people of Ireland itself, she has the energy and craic of a céilí and she shows the soothing air of the island itself. She makes you long to see a landscape of fresh green hills and fields, forests as old as time, and lakes and rivers that glisten in the sparkling light. Ériu is the heart of Ireland.
