This summer I was thinking about what patterns to design and what types of items I would love to add to my wardrobe
Then it came to me….

I could work on a small Leaf Stitch Design book that would allow fellow knitters to explore their creativity. One
of the most enjoyable things for me is to see all of the variations knitters create with my designs. Some add a
wider neck, some additional leaves and some create interesting closures. But it is always fun to see all of the great
creativity out there is the world of knitting.
The stitches in this book represent my love of leaves. With each stitch pattern you can create scarves, sweaters and
various other items just by switching the pattern used. With a swatch you can come up with the perfect fitting vest
or pullover that is unique for you.

The book includes a few simple designs that allows each knitter to change the leaf pattern used easily based on your preference. Create tons of original scarves, sweaters and gift items all with
one book. Or knit a sampler afghan by simply adding a garter stitch onto either side. It is all up to you!

I often marvel at the wonderful artwork individuals make from my patterns. Each additional tweak adds that
something special and makes the item special. I hope these stitch designs further that creativity and helps bring
forth a new wonderful selection of designs by knitters everywhere.
