Inspired by my trip to the Isle of Staffa, this crocheted puffin is great for turning into a cushion or wall hanging. Made using intarsia crochet, there is a definite front and back side. Colour management may be tricky, but it’s well worth it for such a cute little guy!

Inspired by traditional herringbone tweed fabric, two color tapestry colorwork mimics a herringbone pattern in this cosy cowl which can also be made as a longer infinity scarf. Tweel is the Scots word for twill and thanks to an error made by a London cloth merchant, we have tweed fabrics and not tweel fabrics!

A simple crocheted headband earwarmer in bulky yarn, featuring a woven twist in the front. Made using only single crochet and slip stitches through the back loop.
