This straight-forward cabled hat is worked from the bottom up in worsted weight yarn with 2 size options. I originally wrote this pattern for my students who were ready to move beyond the scarf to a circularly knit project featuring manageable cables!

It seems that everybody loves a basic ribbed hat!

While many consider the number 13 to be bad luck, those in our family consider it to be very lucky! My daughter Molly, step-Dad, and great-grandmother (who taught me to knit) were all born on April 13th, so in honor of this special day, I’ve designed a sideways shawlette featuring the “Molly’s Lace” knitted edging.

In honor of the Portland, Oregon 2013 Rose City Yarn Crawl, this lacy shawlette pattern embraces the Shetland construction technique to combine an elongated garter triangle, trellis mesh, and beaded rose lace edging!

This cap and gloves pattern was designed for the 2011 Portland, Oregon Rose City Yarn Crawl and work well in coordination with last year’s ruched scarf design!

This scarf pattern was written to commemorate the 2010 Portland, Oregon Rose City Yarn Crawl! The scarf features alternating ruched sections for reversibility and 5 “faux” long stem roses at each end in honor of the the City of Roses.
