Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A unisex baby hat perfect for a bird lover or nature enthusiast. The random stranded pattern is both easy and enjoyable to knit up.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl displays gradient yarn in a texture reminescent of waves on the ocean. Not only are the waves fun to knit but are functional in trapping warm air inside the cowl.

The final hat in my “threat hat” series. I used smokey cables to represent pollution problems that we all know too well. This is an easy cable adapted to the round from Harmony’s Arans and Cables. The hat has a nice weight to it and could be fashionable in any color.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl knits up quick and keeps your neck as warm as an owl’s. The ruffled feather stitch pattern is easy and there are two options for fringe. This pattern has not been test knitted or tech edited.

I used a worsted gray yarn for the background of the hat. This hat was inspired by a photo I saw of hundreds of ivory tusks found in the black market. They were all laid across the concrete and many people watched as millions of dollars were crushed by bulldozers. Visit my blog to get the free pattern!
