Crochet: Poncho
Smolder: to burn slowly without flame, usually emitting smoke; to have strong suppressed feelings.
Knitting: Cowl
Knit in one continuous piece, Altair is a hooded cowl that can be worn in myriad ways. Wear the cowl on the inside to accentuate the drape of the hood; wear the cowl on the outside to keep your ears warm and the wind out; hood up or hood down; cowl folded over or scrunched up… you get the idea.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Iris is the Maiden goddess of the rainbow. She also serves nectar to the goddesses and gods to drink (gotta love that nectar of the gods!). This is the second shawl in my Triple Goddess Collection. Elli Shawl is the Crone Shawl.

Columns of changing colours set against the backdrop of solid grey-black, reminiscent of stained glass windows.

Have lots of fun indulging that secret desire to wear mismatched socks, but show them off on your arms! Or if that isn’t your thing, make your sleeves matching and show off your favourite skein of sock yarn you’ve been hanging onto. Whatever your fancy, have fun with this knit!
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
A purse or tote (your choice) to use all summer! A simple pattern that beginners can handle, and the leather handles add a little something extra that makes it look a little more posh.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I love how the appearance of straight lines and symmetrical geometric shapes can give the illusion that everything is placed just so, and the world is just a little more orderly. For those of us with more than a bit of chaos in their lives, this little illusion of order can be just what the doctor ordered.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
An adorable little puppy that can be customized by changing yarn colour, ear colour, perhaps adding a spot or two… have fun making him/her your own!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Grab all those bits and pieces of fingering weight yarn you’ve been holding onto because they are just too pretty to get rid of and get ready to have some fun!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Elli is a Crone Goddess, personifying old age and wisdom. But Elli also holds a secret strength that defeats the mighty Thor. You see, Thor underestimated this sweet old woman and agreed to arm wrestle her as a test of strength. Elli won the match, and later Thor found out her secret: no one can defeat old age. Elli’s clever wisdom won over bru...

Satisfy the explorer in you with this fun and functional beanie. Semilla is a wonderfully soft organic merino wool in vibrant saturated colours. As you can tell, it is one of my favourite yarns :)

Spun Fibre Arts is a LYS in beautiful Bronte Village, in Oakville, Ontario. The shifting colours of nature through the seasons inspired us to ask Yarn Indulgences to create custom colourways to celebrate each season in Bronte. Once we had all four seasons represented, I wanted to bring them all into one garment that I could wear (almost) all ye...

Classy, warm and dependable, just like the friend who inspired this hat design. A single row of cables adds that little “something” without taking anything away. Wear it slouchy, or fold the brim and wear it as a beanie; add a pom pom or leave it as is… there are many ways to make this hat your own!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Harbour Hat is an easy to knit, unisex hat that uses Luma by The Fibre Company, a blend of Merino, Cotton, Linen and Silk, to create a very soft and cozy hat.

Make everyday your Lucky Day with this versatile addition to your wardrobe. Knitted lengthwise, with alternating sections of twisted rib and clover leaf lace, this pattern is simultaneously easy to memorize yet has just enough interest to keep you from getting bored as the sections are not evenly spaced. And my yarn of choice, Peppino, by

Watching fireflies blinking on a late July evening is pure magic. And even on the warmest days you may need a little something to cover your shoulders as the sun dips below the horizon. That’s where our Firefly shawl and shawlette start to shine.

This hat was designed to feature the mini skeins of Fynn by Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze, but you could easily use up any odds and ends you have lying around from other projects. Mini skeins are a great way to try some of Rhichard’s beautiful colourways without having to commit to a whole skein!
Knitting: Poncho
Cute as a little pixie, this poncho will keep the chill off your little ones in the fall or spring!
Knitting: Poncho
A beautiful way to show off two skeins of hand dyed yarn such as Wind Dancer and Abruzzi, both by Yarns of Rhichard Devrieze.
Knitting: Pixie Hat
If you are like many parents, you are looking for a hat that will be snug around the face, cover the ears, and keep your little one’s neck warm. If your wee one is like many other wee ones out there, they dislike having something pulled over their heads.
Crochet: Earflap Hat
Notes: I just realized I haven’t put the number of balls required for the project. You will need 2 balls of the main colour, and one ball of each of the 2 secondary colours.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a quick, easy project done on two needles. It is seamed up the back so you can just slip it over your head as you’re heading out the door! And you can use up your extra balls of dk or worsted yarn, so you’ve got the stash-busting bonus as well…

This pattern is the second in our Animal Hat Series ! I loved making the ear flaps look like chicken legs (oops I mean rooster legs!).

I just loved making this pattern!! I have already had requests for older child and adult versions, so hopefully I will be able to get those done sometime in the near future…..? In the meantime, have fun making your little one into a forest creature!!
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This pattern came out of a need for a basic hat pattern for our learn to crochet class. I chose Mission Falls 1824 Wool because it is soft, I love the colours and it is wash and dryable. Perfect for a hat!!
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
After test knitting this pattern a few times, the feedback has been phenomenal!! So easy yet so comfortable, you’ll want to wear it every day!! It is flattering on every body type, and keeps you warm without being bulky.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
After many years of knitting the simple elegance of the original Butterfly Shawl, I felt it was time for an update. I continue to love the simplicity and versatility of this pattern - you can knit it in virtually any weight by adjusting your needle size. It is a good pattern for someone just getting into lace knitting as it isn’t too difficult,...

Knitting: Cardigan
This sweater was originally sold as a kit through Spun Fibre Arts, in varying colourways (one of the beautiful things about Fleece Artist yarns!!). It is knit alternating between one strand of Merino Boucle and a double strand of Curlylocks, giving it both textural and colour variation. It is a relatively simple pattern, and includes a crochete...
