One of my favourite things to make are granny squares because they are like building blocks for so many different patterns, including hats. I designed the Solair Granny Square in a way that it will not have any gaps. So even if this is on the band of a hat, it will keep you warm and cosy.

Azuki-iro after which this top is named means the colour of sweet bean paste in Japanese. I wanted something of the spirit of this ingredient, of being simple yet unique and versatile to reflect in this design as well. So this is Azuki even though its colour keeps changing.
