Spun is a fitted beanie with ribbing at the base and a swirled twisted stitch pattern that continues all the way to the last 11 stitches.

Vetiver is a ribbed beanie named for the essential oil of the same name. The essential oil vetiver is known for its earthy and stress relieving properties; which I had in mind when designing this hat.

Errata Switch to color B (optional) and knit in stockinette (knit all stitches) until piece measures 9 inches from CO edge (from the longest part of the scalloped edge).

This hat is as versatile as it is warm. You can knit it longer or shorter before decreasing depending on how much of a slouch you like. The brim can be folded up for a double brim or kept long. There is very little decreasing so this is a great pattern for the beginning knitter.
