Crochet: Scarf
Inspired by 1920s Australia’s newest and most fashionable amateur detective, this lacy beaded scarf is as perfect for breezy afternoon picnics as it is for a hot night on the town. It’s the cat’s pyjamas!

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern, like all of mine, has been abandoned, as far as support goes. I check on Ravelry so infrequently that I just can’t guarantee I’ll answer your questions, so I decided to make all the patterns free, with this caveat. I hope you still enjoy.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
I’ve named this pattern the Cadfael (pronounced CAD-vile – it’s Welsh) because my husband Charles was reading to me from that series of mystery novels (by Ellis Peters) while I worked on it. The shawl is roughly semi-circular, but with a bit of a curve across the top that can be used as a self-collar.
