It’s time for another mystery sock! Join us in the Sock Knitters Anonymous group while we knit this sock in January. The holidays are behind us. Hopefully, it’s time to relax. This pattern should be a nice, relaxing knit and you might try something new too. I did! This sock will be released in 4 clues on January 1, 6, 15, and 20.

Crossed is a top down sock pattern with a flap heel. The stitch pattern has cables that are easy to do without a cable needle with knits and purls.

Half Hearted is a cuff down sock pattern. The cable and lace pattern is worked all around the leg, but tapers to stockinette on the foot. This pattern is available in two sizes of 54 and 70 total stitches. It is in charted form only.

Ucubes is a toe-up sock pattern that’s appropriate for males and females. It was initially designed for someone that does not like adventurous sock patterns or colors. It was designed to work with sport weight yarn, but testers also knit it in fingering weight.

Pantosta is a cuff down sock with cables on the leg transitioning to lesser cables on the foot and a knit/purl pattern. It comes in three sizes of 64, 72, and 80 stitches.

Crooked Wheels is now available as a toe-up or cuff down pattern. Both versions are included when you buy this pattern. This pattern has a lot of cables on the instep/front of the leg. Because of all of those cables, there is only ribbing on the back of the leg to provide a comfortable fit.

Shark Teeth is a cuff down sock with teeth traveling around the leg on a twisted rib background. This pattern comes in sizes of 56, 64, and 72 stitches and is only in chart form.

Surrender is a toe-up sock designed for the Woolgirl Wizard of Oz sock club. Using the theme “Surrender Dorothy”, I really wanted to put the Wicked Witch’s hourglass on a sock.

This pattern comes in two sizes of 56 and 64 stitches in charted form only. The stitch pattern is very stretchy. Most knitters could fit either size, depending on how they snug they like their fingerless mitts.

Pirate Danger is a toe-up sock with a little adventure. Twisted stitches form pirate-y motifs. What kind of pirate are you? So far, we’ve had murky brown pirates, sparkly pirates, romantic pirates, and girlie pirates. Pirate Danger is charted and comes in the sizes of 64 and 72 total stitches.

It is said that she was half alive and half dead. Each side of this sock represents a side of her. She has a skeleton side and a more graceful, flowing side.
