It’s time for another mystery sock! Join us in the Sock Knitters Anonymous group while we knit this sock in January. The holidays are behind us. Hopefully, it’s time to relax. This pattern should be a nice, relaxing knit and you might try something new too. I did! This sock will be released in 4 clues on January 1, 6, 15, and 20.

Crossed is a top down sock pattern with a flap heel. The stitch pattern has cables that are easy to do without a cable needle with knits and purls.

Pretzel is now available as a toe-up or cuff down pattern. This cabled sock pattern designed for sport weight yarn. It is available in sizes of 64 and 72 total stitches and is in charted form only.

Half Hearted is a cuff down sock pattern. The cable and lace pattern is worked all around the leg, but tapers to stockinette on the foot. This pattern is available in two sizes of 54 and 70 total stitches. It is in charted form only.

Arches is a toe-up sock pattern with an easy to memorize lace stitch pattern. It is suitable for knitting both socks at the same time. It comes in three sizes of 60 (68, 76) total stitches and is in charted form only.

Linesx3 is a cuff down sock with lines going in three different directions. It’s a very textured sock with a stitch pattern that shifts around the leg. The right and left socks are mirrored.

Ucubes is a toe-up sock pattern that’s appropriate for males and females. It was initially designed for someone that does not like adventurous sock patterns or colors. It was designed to work with sport weight yarn, but testers also knit it in fingering weight.

Pantosta is a cuff down sock with cables on the leg transitioning to lesser cables on the foot and a knit/purl pattern. It comes in three sizes of 64, 72, and 80 stitches.

Crooked Wheels is now available as a toe-up or cuff down pattern. Both versions are included when you buy this pattern. This pattern has a lot of cables on the instep/front of the leg. Because of all of those cables, there is only ribbing on the back of the leg to provide a comfortable fit.

Shark Teeth is a cuff down sock with teeth traveling around the leg on a twisted rib background. This pattern comes in sizes of 56, 64, and 72 stitches and is only in chart form.

Zurc is a cuff down sock pattern that is appropriate for males or females. It’s available in 4 sizes of 56 (64, 72, 80) total stitches and is only in charted form.

12 Legs is a cuff down sock pattern that has both regular cables and twisted stitches. The stitch pattern is charted and comes in three sizes of 64, 72, and 80 total stitches.

Threaded is a cuff down sock pattern with cables that wrap around the leg and ankle. This pattern comes in two sizes of 64 and 72 total stitches and the stitch pattern is charted.

Not Connected is a toe-up sock pattern with a gusset and patterned heel flap. There are sections of lace on every row. These little cells of lace are predictable and easy to memorize.

Phenomenal Woman is a cuff down sock pattern designed for Woolgirl’s sock club.

Surrender is a toe-up sock designed for the Woolgirl Wizard of Oz sock club. Using the theme “Surrender Dorothy”, I really wanted to put the Wicked Witch’s hourglass on a sock.

This pattern comes in two sizes of 56 and 64 stitches in charted form only. The stitch pattern is very stretchy. Most knitters could fit either size, depending on how they snug they like their fingerless mitts.

Pride was designed exclusively for Dyelectable Yarn’s 7 Deadly Sins club. This pattern will be available outside of the club in July 2011.

Mullion is a toe-up sock with twisted stitches, cables, and works well with variegated yarns. It’s available in three sizes of 64, 72, and 80 stitches. The largest size is suitable for men. This pattern comes with only charts.

The name Complicated comes from one of my favorite movie quotes, “It’s complicated” from The Count of Monte Cristo. The sock itself is not that complicated, but does look a little challenging.

Harps and Strings was designed for Saffron Dyework’s Mini Mica yarn.

Snakes is a toe up pattern with different stitch motifs that slither up the sock. Those motifs are also on the heel flap. This pattern is charted only and comes in two sizes of 64 and 72 total stitches.

Pirate Danger is a toe-up sock with a little adventure. Twisted stitches form pirate-y motifs. What kind of pirate are you? So far, we’ve had murky brown pirates, sparkly pirates, romantic pirates, and girlie pirates. Pirate Danger is charted and comes in the sizes of 64 and 72 total stitches.

This sock pattern comes with two versions. The Upward Spiral is knit from the toe-up. The Downward Spiral is knit cuff down. This pattern is charted and comes in three sizes of 64, 72, and 80 stitches.

OppAtt is a sock pattern designed for the Barking Dog Yarns group using Opposites Attract sock yarn. The pattern was released in clues and now all 4 clues have been combined into one file.

Fenestra is a toe-up sock with patterning on the toe and heel flap. This pattern comes in two sizes of 68 and 76 total stitches and is in charted form only.

Chimes is a toe-up sock pattern where the stitch pattern is started in the toe area and is also on the heel flap. This pattern comes in two sizes of 60 and 72 total stitches and is in charted form only.

Alice was designed for Biscotte & Cie’s Super Bambou yarn in the self-striping Alice colorway. This pattern features motifs that come to mind when I think of Alice in Wonderland: hearts and the rabbit.

Purl and Zag is one of my simpler sock patterns suitable for variegated yarns and darker yarns. With lace and purl sections, this pattern is interesting to knit without getting lost in the colors.

Hel is now available outside of Gaia’s club. Hel was designed specially for Gaia’s Colours Fibre Arts Samhain 2009 club. Hel was the Norse goddess of the underworld. It is said that she was half alive and half dead. Each side of this sock represents a side of her. She has a skeleton side and a more graceful, flowing side.

This pattern has intricately woven twisted stitches that twist around each other. It is a cuff down sock pattern with a heel flap, and picked up stitches for the gusset.

This sock pattern works nicely with variegated yards by making dashes and slashes across the colors. This pattern is written for Magic Loop, is toe-up, and is charted.

This is a lace sock pattern that stays snug on your leg with the help of twisted stitches. The pattern is written for Magic Loop, toe-up, and is charted.

Whirligig Cables is a bold sock pattern with cables that resemble whirligigs, trees, candy, or even broccoli. The stitch consists of very open lace and that are twisted with large cables.

Tangled Woods is a toe-up pattern with cables and lace. The pattern is written for one size, but is easy to resize up or down. This patterns comes with only charts.

This was the June 2009 mystery sock for the Solid Socks group. This is a cuff down sock with a heel flap and picked up gusset stitches. The socks are mirrored with full charts for 2 sizes.

This pattern consists of twisted ribbing with stockinette areas that resemble a ribbon falling through the air. This pattern is suitable for mildly variegated yarns.

This is the September 2008 Mystery sock for Sock Knitter’s Anonymous. The pattern was released here in 4 parts during September 2008. All four parts have now been put together into one file.

This is a toe-up sock pattern that uses many large charts to get the climbing vine that blooms at the top of the sock near the cuff. The pictured socks have a relaxed circumference of 7 inches and a stretched circumference of 10 inches.
