Crochet: Doll
A crochet pattern for a whimsical, sweet little doll, designed to resemble the gum nut blossom of the eucalyptus/gum trees in my native Australia.
Crochet: Cowl
This is an original crochet pattern for a beautiful soft cowl, designed by me in Australia.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
A tam o’shanter/beret worked in Fair Isle to fit from 1 - 3 year old approximately.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
A practical market bag, in a strong yarn, with a little added pocket worked into the base, for storage in your handbag/purse.
Crochet: Sleeveless Top
A sweet little cotton top for summer. Worn alone, or over a T-shirt, with shorts or leggings. Baby size may be worn as a dress.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
The crib cover is made in fresh summer colours in 4 ply/fingering weight cotton in a textured granny square pattern. Each square measures approximately 8cm, so the crib cover is approximately 56cm x 48cm, (22 x 19 inches) including edge, when finished. The gauge is not crucial.
Crochet: Shrug / Bolero
A sweet crocheted bolero for a little girl, of any age. The pink and light blue samples were worked in a 4 ply cotton for a 3yr old. Approx. 150gm of yarn required for size 3.
Knitting: Cowl
Lovely soft knitted cowl for winter warmth. The cowl will fit most adults. You will need 2 50gm skeins of Amuri 4ply, (fingering weight), or 380mt.of yarn. It is knitted in the round on a 60cm (3.25mm) circular needle or set of dpns. The cowl can be worn reversed, or knit a bit longer and it can be pulled up over the head.
Crochet: Scarf
Colorful crocheted scarf with surface embellishments on the ends. The gauge is not crucial. The stitch is a crocheted bee-hive stitch.
Crochet: Scarf
1 x 100gm ball of Zauberball sock weight yarn required and a 3.5mm hook. Scarf is approx 128cm in length.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
A sweet little beanie for a baby worked in an 8ply or DK weight yarn in an unusual easy treble (USdc) pattern, with a row of bobbles near bottom edge, and a ribbed effect band.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
A sweet little crib cover making small ‘Hungarian style’ squares in colours of choice. The size is up to you, but the sample was worked with 4 x 5 squares (20 squares). Gauge is not critical for this crib cover. Use your favourite 4ply/fingering soft yarn, and you will need approximately 550mt of yarn in 3 colours for the sample shown.
