Knitting: Component (stitch, edge) - Other
This pattern is essentially a recipe for an alternative for a reenforced heelflap. It can be applied in any pattern that uses a traditional heelflap.

Knitting: Socks - Other
The idea for these footies came to me walking in a hot city, getting dust in my shoes, sore toes and heels being the result. I considered wearing socks in these shoes, but I wanted tanned feet and my vanity said no to pale ankles. This is the result of my dilemma and I am so happy with them I wanted to make a pattern for them, to spread the joy.

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
The knitting starts at the toe. The heel is a variation on the fleegle heel, there will be no picking up stitches. Reenforced heel.
