Inspired by a memory of my Nana needlebook from the 1950s, I made this for a gift and loved it so much I had to make one for myself too!

As its only DC (uk) or SC (usa) its a really simple pattern and as its quite small you can use scraps of yarn left over to make.

This pattern uses mostly single crochet so one stitch makes this a fairy simple.
