Pattern note: For the rib section in the split back hat version I used a US size 5 sixteen-inch circular needle for that section, then I switched to the US size 6. In the materials for the split back version I didn’t list a US size 5 sixteen-inch needle. I will update the pattern to include this needle as soon as I get a chance.
