I love that first crisp bite of the air at the beginning of autumn. It’s not cold enough for a jacket but you need a little something extra. Why not step into fall in style?

The stars and night sky have always been a personal fascination for me. At one point, I even considered becoming an astronaut! Knowing that those same stars shine over those I love that are far away, is a comfort. The full moon reminds me of paper lanterns hung at festivals and that is exactly what these legwarmers look like when you block them.

One of my favorite things about crochet is texture. Each stitch stands out and gives the finished fabric a different feel when compared to knitting. These socks then exaggerate the texture even more by using a puffy stitch in the cuff.

This piece was inspired by a fabric that a friend made into a project bag for me.

This wrap is worked from the bottom up with the lace in a contrasting color. It has a slight crescent shape in the body portion to make it drape gracefully. You will need approximately 2/3 skein for the contrast lace and 1 skein for the main body.

This is a long crescent shawl worked from the top down using short rows to shape the body and with a lace edge.

A lace detailed shrug worked in the round from the center out. Shrug is worked all in one piece and has no seaming.

Created after a friend’s mom saw my large round yarn bombings. This is a much smaller version with kokopelli. Finished piece is 14” in diameter and mounted on a hoop.
