Knitting: Cowl
Sample shown is approximately 56” long. Pattern suggests knitting to desired length, depending on whether you like a loose or snug cowl.
Knitting: Vest
This pattern is currently available as pre-sale. The completed patttern should be available be Mid-May.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a great stash-busting project. It was originally created for a workshop I taught where kit colors were handed out and stash yarns were used to complement them.
Knitting: Cowl
This is a reversible cowl that’s fun to work. It’s an easy form of double knitting without fuss!
Knitting: Tee
This top is knit side-to-side in color block style with the Baby Gradient kit from Feza yarns. Only seaming required is underarm and side seam. Knit cuff to cuff with shirt-tail shaping. High / low hemline with longer back than front.
Knitting: Cowl
1) Cowl is knit in pieces and sewn together to create a patchwork base with Tencel Tape (MC). 2) Cut-outs are knit with Delicato (CC’s). 3) Embellishments are created with the chain and daisy embroidery techniques.
Crochet: Cowl
This cowl creates a beautiful woven look! I hope you enjoy working it as much as I did creating it. It is based on the A, B, C method. Three colors are used throughout. There are no messy tails to sew in at every color change. The next yarn in sequence is always in the right place when it’s needed.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat features a fun stitch pattern (video support in pattern) for the trim, making it equally fun to knit a wear!
Knitting: Vest
This pattern is worked from the bottom up in one piece. Only the shoulders need to be joined. It features swing shaping made with easy decreases and is very comfy to wear; a great cover-up for casual wear.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf uses half a skein of Lago, half a skein (doubled) of Delicato, and 1 ball of Tempo.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
This bag was designed for the Central Kansas Yarn Shop Hop October 20-23, 2011. It can only be obtained at this time by purchasing the passport for the hop. Each shop (there are 12) on the hop will be handing out 30 yard pieces of yarn. The bag was designed with this in mind. It’s a great way to use up extra stash yarns, too!

Textured jacket with shawl collar is knit from cuff to cuff in an easy stitch pattern with rolled edges. The original version in Cast On features three sizes, from S 38 1/2” to L 45 1/2”. The updated version ranges from 37” to 57”.
Knitting: Vest
This vest is based on the Mini-Mitered Cardigan. Both patterns can be purchased as one pattern (Mini-Mitered Duo) or individually. Based on a technique credited to Horst Schultz, these mitered corner squares offer countless possibilities in terms of design as well as color. Don’t be daunted by the number of squares-it really is addictive to ‘bu...
Knitting: Vest
This vest is knit side-to-side with short-row shaping at the sides for gentle flaring and the lapels.
Knitting: Vest
This design is knit in a reversible stitch pattern in 4 identical pieces that are then sewn together- reversing 2 of them to create the diagonal lines.
Knitting: Cardigan
This design was modeled after a favorite polar fleece jacket of mine. I loved the roomy pockets and the slouchy feel. Only problem was it was red with gold reindeers!
Knitting: Coat / Jacket
This is a great first sweater for beginning knitters as there is very little shaping involved.
Knitting: Vest
This is a sideways knit vest with short-row shaping at the necklines and side slits at the side.
Knitting: Vest
This is a great first vest project for beginners. The fold back collar eliminates any shaping at the collar leaving only a bit of binding off and decreasing at the armholes. It substitutes well in many yarns.
Knitting: Poncho
This is a fun poncho knit all in one piece with neck shaping. One seam along side is all it needs. Yarns are changed randomly every other row.
Knitting: Cardigan
This design was first published in Cast On winter 2004 and is now available through Wildflower.
