Apu is a present from the Inca gods, and means the spirit of the mountain in Quechua. Its softness, due to an average fiber fineness of 17 microns, is achieved exclusively by means of meticulous hand-sorting to select the softest alpaca fibers known. Imperial Alpaca holds an exclusive and prestigious position, being both exquisitely soft and exceptionally rare.
