Friesian DK is a 2-ply, woolen-spun yarn that is airy and lofty; it knits into a light, squishy fabric that works well for warm sweaters, blankets, hats, and mittens. This yarn is unwashed in the skein and blooms beautifully after a good soak for a cohesive fabric that is slightly fuzzy, light, and breathable. It works well for colorwork and motifs with simple shapes and lines.
