Owing to its hollow structure angora is the lightest and warmest of wools, while it is softer even than cashmere. As the composition of any yarn must be indicated by weight and not by volume, the 20% of angora found in our Feather Down yarn actually represents a really substantial amount of feather-weight angora wool. We have blended it with the finest merino wool while preserving its fineness – this is really needed because angora on its own does not have any elasticity. However we can overlook this small fault, can’t we?
