An incredibly special, limited release base that is an equal blend of US grown organic cotton and wool. You heard me right! Both the wool AND the cotton are organic, AND from the US. This is incredibly rare, as only a few farms in the US are growing cotton organically (and making yarn from it, vs fabric). Cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed crops, with using 16% of the world’s insecticides, and the main reason we don’t have more cotton yarn bases.

Hornfels is a fingering weight yarn, lusciously soft and has a unique and lovely drape. I’m imagining all of the cardigans and shawls!
