Super-soft blend of baby alpaca and merino wool. Fingering (sock) weight (Cat. 1) but probably not sturdy enough for socks -- use this one for light, delightfully snuggly cowls and scarves. The two plies are slightly different shades and thus take the dye differently, giving subtle depth without a stark barberpole marl effect.
