This Donegal nep is a bit special, the neps glow in the dark under Ultraviolet light. We’ve mixed it into a fluffy yarn to add a special twist. The yarn is soft and knits into a lovely drapey fabric. The linen just creates a little extra texture. The yarn sucks up the dye and so lovely strong colours can be created. We used a 4mm needle and this knits as a DK yarn with 4ply yardage.
