We love local wool yarns and asked Battenkill Fiber in Greenwich, NY to help us create a sport weight yarn we could hand dye.

Meet CeCe’s Wool Local yarn Gems - a beautiful Finn/Merino blend sport weight yarn in 100 gram skeins (320 yards) that we absolutely love. It takes dye amazingly well and keeps all of the sheep goodness nature provided. We dyed the yarn in six strong tonal striations that reminded us of rock striations and named them after mineral rocks and gems.
