Dairing DA-82 Originally used as an industrial yarn, now it is available for knitters,weavers and fiber artists. The core is stainless steel and silk is twisted around the core.
Because of the stainless steel, there is a memory in the yarn. It will hold a shape unless you straighten the yarn. The more strands you add the more memory.

It is easiest if you knit two strands together, a single strandis also stunning.

Works well as a weft and warp yarn for weavers.

Please note this yarn is sold in 20 gram cones but can be made up to any weight.

Very similar to Avril 16 gram and Habu 14 gram silk stainless.

Colourways are different to Avril and Habu.
