This yarn is both a collaboration and the culmination of a dream. For years, Brooke Sinnes (Sincere Sheep) and I have wanted to design a warm weather yarn that takes advantage of all the best qualities of our new favorite Shaniko wool, silk and flax. With the hand of a slightly textured cotton, the yarn behaves like the perfect temperature control -- absorbing moisture and helping it wick it away from the body.

Coastal yarn features 50% American wool from Shaniko Wool Company, 25% silk, 25% Belgian flax. Shaniko Wool Company is Merino and Rambouillet from American farms and ranches and is certified under the Responsible Wool Standard.

This yarn is great for both garments and shawls!
