FOG is a unique yarn composed of pima cotton, baby alpaca and merino wool. This “blow yarn” uses alpaca and merino fibers blown into a cotton tunnel. This provides the finished yarn with strength and an even finer structure, helping the finished knit maintain its shape. Exceptionally lightweight, very soft, and delicate, it’s ideal for sensitive skin. Often called “a cloud.”

Thanks to the process of blowing alpaca and merino fibers into a cotton tunnel, FOG is a very light yet thick yarn. This makes larger projects, such as sweaters or cardigans, very warm and fluffy, without weighing much.
