We are so proud to introduce a new All-American yarn to our lineup. After searching for nearly two years for the ideal fiber for this project we found a Montana-grown Cormo that was impeccable for this. We needed a fiber that was long, crimpy and fine but would also take a dye well enough to produce the deep black we were after.

Nightshades was inspired by the deep shadows that dance on your ceiling at night. Sometimes sleeplessness can bring about unexpected inspiration. At HD, we think, live, breathe, and sometimes dream in color ratios. Thus began the journey to create a palette that celebrates the strange beauty of night.

This yarn is spun as a springy 3-ply. It is light and perfect for a heavy wear garment, or a light accessory.

As soon as we finalized all of the yarn specs, we needed a designer who could deliver the concept in pattern form. We reached out to Whitney Hayward to see if she could make this all come together and the results were beyond our expectations. Seven dream-inspired garments came together to connect the concept of the yarn to a design reality that worked seamlessly.
