What if we told you that Silly Socks Disco not only comes in neon colors but will also glow when exposed to UV light?

Silly Socks Disco is made out of 75% wool which will keep your feet warm and cozy, while the 25% of polyamide (nylon) will make your socks resistant and sturdy. Moreover, this yarn is produced with a special dye to achieve the reflective effect. In fact, when exposed to ultraviolet light, the yarn will glow, making it perfect for adding a unique twist to any project.

Silly Socks Disco is superwash treated and this means that it can be machine washed at 30°C (86°F or cold wash). This will definitely make your life easier when taking care of your beautiful socks. Even though this is a classical sock yarn, please don’t limit yourself to only creating socks with it. Cardigans for children, mittens, beanies, headbands, ear warmers, etc. can all be created with this yarn.

If you want to stick to creating socks one 100 g skein will be enough for a standard pair of socks until size 40 (UK: 6.5, US: 8.5). For socks bigger than that, please make sure to get two skeins.

For an even more eye-catching look, you can add beads or sequins to your projects for an extra touch of sparkle. It might also look great to knit stripes with a neon color of your choice as well as black. The black and the neon will stand in beautifully stark contrast to each other. Please note that the black color will not glow under UV light, but will instead absorb any available light.
