Notes from manufacturer’s website:

Knitting for Olive Compatible Cashmere is an ultra soft and exclusive yarn in 100% Cashmere.

Compatible Cashmere can be knitted as a second strand, as an alternative to a mohair or suri yarn. It can be also be knit on its own, held double, as an alternative to a fingering weight base.

The cashmere wool originates from China and Mongolia and the yarn is produced in Italy. The spinning mill used by Knitting for Olive follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals.

Please be aware that fibers from cashmere are shorter than others like merino, which means that the finished knit requires special care in relation to pilling. We recommend the use of a cashmere comb or carefully cutting the loose fibers off with a pair of scissors, to maintain your knit in perfect condition.

This yarn is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.
