This wonderful super soft melange from Yakwool and Silk combines the subtle softness of Yak with a little bit of shine from the Silk. Yakwool is precious and rare as Yaks are usually raised for transport purposes and very seldom farmers collect the fibre or even brush their animals. I found the beautiful Yaks on a hiking trip to the Himalayan Mountains and fell in love with these very modest and friendly animals. Let us support the Nepalese farmers with this yarn!
