Merino Extrafine fiber is opened up and spun into a thick open continuous fiber. The yarn is then dyed and when dried, it is run through rollers and pulled to add a soft twist, gel the fiber together and elongate the dye stamp. This version of Colorissimo has the same base yarn and gauge but has a shorter dye stamp so yarn patterns differently.
