This sock yarn is 50% merino wool 50% Silk. They are hand washable. Machine washing will make the socks shrink a little and the merino wool bloom into an even softer more luxurious fabric. There is 4 oz (112 grams) and 485 yards. Recommended needle size: 1-3.
