A luxury, incredibly soft fingering kidsilk yarn!

Fireweed is the perfect yarn in which to create deliciously
warm, elegant, delicate, next-to-the-skin-soft garments.

Fireweed is spun (in a Canadian fibre mill) using the fleeces from our Angora baby goats. The extra soft, airy Kid Mohair is blended with luxurious Tussah silk (for an extra touch of strength and shine) and fine wool (Charollais cross Dorset) for added memory to help your garments keep their shape.

We kettle dye (hand-dye) many skeins for you in several colours using acid dyes.

Undyed skeins are also an excellent choice for hand-painted yarns or any dyeing project you may have in mind.
