Lustre is a delicate, light fingering weight yarn with a high twist that combines merino (50%) with hints of mulberry silk (15%), kid mohair (15%) and polyamide (20%).

It knits up beautifully with a hint of lustre due to the silk content; deepening and enriching colours. This versatile, silky, soft lightweight fingering yarn is perfect for a range of projects.

Do not be put off by the polyamide content of this yarn - it makes for a super-strong yarn base that will not fluff or pill! It is one of my personal favourites due to its beautiful drape and the way in which it creates lovely textural stitches.

Each 100g skein contains approximately 400 m (or approximately 437 yards).

Recommended needle size: 2.5mm - 3.75mm or size to obtain gauge.
