Our light yarn blend consisting of virgin wool, silk and ramie is a very special and fine yarn. Because of the ramie part it is tougher than other yarns. So it’s also suited for knitting socks, if you don’t like the polyamid in common sock yarn.

Ramie is a natural fibre made out of a plant that is related to nettle but appears only in Southeast Asia. It’s one of the oldest fibre plants used by mankind and it lends a particularly shine to the fibre.
