Both of these lush fibres have great reputations for being luxurious, soft and silky. Similar to mohair/silk blends, with a little more texture, a great alternative. Perfect for those with wool sensitivities as alpaca has no lanolin and is still water repellent.

This base looks beautiful worked on its own, creating an airy finished object. Held double with another yarn, it makes for a lovely experience, producing a project with a subtle halo adding to the whimsical vibe.

Gentle hand wash with warm water and bubbles.
