The Lewis base is composed of 75% Blue-Faced Leicester and 25% Nylon. Named for the English region from where it comes, it is somewhat similar to a Merino wool yet known for a bit more sheen and drape despite its initial rougher texture. A more economical yarn with visual qualities of silk? I’ll take it!
