This base yarn is similar to my Merino/nylon sock, with the addition of Stellina fiber for sparkle. The Stellina is a soft silver colored sparkly fiber similar to angelina. It is not at all scratchy.

75% superwash Merino wool, 20% nylon, 5% stellina
100g, approx. 394yds
7-9 sts per inch on US 0-2 needles for socks
variable gauge on US 5-6 needles for lace
hand or machine wash in cold water, lay flat to dry
