Julie by Permin is made from natural jute fibres and has a rustic and authentic look that adds structure and character to both knitting and crocheting projects. Jute is a fast-growing plant with a growing period of approximately 120 days and only requires a minimum of fertilizer and natural rainwater to thrive. When harvested, the fibres are between one and four metres long and are characterised by their strength, softness and almost silky shine. The fibres can be spun into fine threads, which makes the yarn particularly suitable for durable products.

Julie by Permin is particularly suitable for bags, accessories and creative interior projects, where the natural look is allowed to stand out.

Knitting tension and recommended needle and crochet hook sizes may vary depending on the project, and we therefore always recommend following the instructions in the pattern you are using.

Washing: Hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Avoid rubbing to preserve the fibers.
Drying: Air dry in the shade to prevent yellowing.
Ironing: Not recommended (risk of burning the fiber).
