• Pouf is made in Peru, using an innovative Italian-made machine that whips a mix of 50% alpaca and 50% fine highland wool into a floaty strand with a hollow core… It’s literally spun around air! This unique structure has all the softness of a single ply yarn, yet it resists pilling, and that cushion of air at the center makes it wonderfully insulating, too.

• Pick from Pouf’s palette of 30 colors, a mix of sheep-y neutrals like Fresh Nutmeg and Hot Coffee and natural pops like Wild Watermelon and Grasshopper Green.

• Each big, bouncy 100-gram ball gives you tons of yardage for a bulky- to super bulky-weight yarn, thanks to that feather-light spin… Fully 108 yards of joy!

To reflect this, we are increasing the recommended gauge and yarn weight to include chunky/bulky as well as super bulky, but the label on the yarn you receive may not reflect this change. Rest assured, it is the same yarn, and will knit up beautifully at that denser gauge if you desire!

• Pouf is Peru Fair Trade Certified, which means the mill that makes it is committed to fair and safe working conditions, as well as a respect for the environment, with low-impact production techniques, a responsible consumption of resources, and the reuse, recycling, and reduction of raw materials.
